Good evening dear Hive friends, today is an important day, a small step towards the future that I imagine and dream in my head, a future where my work is what I love to do, live, explore and photograph the wonders that surround us. The road is still very long before I can call myself a professional, study, practice, and patience are the key words that I want to bring with me and that I must strictly follow if I want to achieve my goal.
But as with all ambitions and projects, you always start with a first step, and yesterday the first flag was planted for my new path, I marked the first stage. Yesterday my first photo was sold on Shutterstock, in practice, someone purchased the copyrights of my photo to use it for commercial purposes.

La strada è ancora molto lunga prima che io possa definirmi un professionista, studio pratica e pazienza sono le parole chiave che voglio portare con me e che devo tassativamente seguire se voglio raggiungere il mio obiettivo.
Ma come per tutte le ambizioni e i progetti, si parte sempre da un primo passo e ieri è stata piantata la prima bandiera per il mio nuovo percorso, ho segnato la prima tappa. Ieri è stata venduta la mia prima foto su Shutterstock, in pratica, qualcuno ha acquistato i diritti della mia fotografia per poterla utilizzare a fini commerciali.

After 10 days with only 14 photos uploaded, someone decided that my photo was the right one, and this made me jump for joy even though it was only 10 cents.
Cosa ho incassato? Solo 10 centesimi, che è pochissimo lo so, ma si parte pur sempre da un punto e il mio pensiero quando ho iniziato questo percorso era, ma qualcuno vorrà mai comprare le mie foto?... Dopo 10 giorni con sole 14 foto caricate, qualcuno ha deciso che la mia foto era quella giusta e questo mi ha fatto saltare di gioia anche se erano solo 10 centesimi.
But let's start from the beginning... During my downtime for the operation, I tried to study, with the help of chat GPT, some strategies that could make me monetize by exploiting my skills and what I already partly know. Among these, chat GPT suggested that I sell the rights to my photos on dedicated platforms that make authors' images available for commercial as well as non-commercial purposes.
The problem arose that much of my material has already been published and monetized in part. So I asked the chat, which sites did not require exclusive rights to the photo and allowed the same images to be uploaded to multiple platforms for both selling and private publishing, such as personal blogs like Hive. The answer generated a good number of positive possibilities to connect, among which was Shutterstock, which I already knew by reputation, but did not know its characteristics. So once I signed up as a collaborator and completed all the checks, I started uploading my first photos to the platform, about a hundred photographs, of which only 14 were accepted.
Ma partiamo dall'inizio... Durante il mio periodo di stop per l'operazione, ho cercato di studiare, grazie all'aiuto di chat GPT, alcune strategie che potessero farmi monetizzare sfruttando le mie capacità e ciò che conosco già in parte. Tra queste chat GPT, mi suggerì di vendere i diritti delle mie foto sulle piattaforme dedicate che mettono a disposizioni le immagini degli autori per scopi commerciali e non solo.
Li sorgeva il problema che molto del mio materiale è già stato pubblicato e monetizzato in parte. Così ho chiesto alla chat, quali siti non chiedessero l'esclusiva della foto e permettessero di caricare le stesse immagini in più piattaforme sia di vendita che di pubblicazione privata come blog personali come Hive. La risposta ha generato un bel numero di positive possibilità da connettere, tra le quali c'era Shutterstock, che già conoscevo per fama, ma non conoscevo le sue caratteristiche. Così una volta iscritto come collaboratore e fatto tutte le verifiche, ho iniziato a caricare le mie prime foto sulla piattaforma, circa cento fotografie, delle quali sono state accettate solo 14.
At first, I was disappointed, but then after reading and understanding why, it had encouraged me to study photography and especially post-production more. This is because Shutterstock has a function and efficiency that really amazed me because we are usually accustomed to being told that something is not good without much explanation. However, this platform had explained photo by photo what problems needed to be resolved in order to be published and sold. It's an enormous added value for a photographer to be able to know where specific errors are and be able to fix them where possible. If they had simply been rejected, I wouldn't have known what to do to remedy the situation, but thanks to the details on the errors, I can go back to reworking the original RAW files, which I keep in duplicate for each photo, fixing any gaps and making a new evaluation request.
Subito ci rimasi male a primo impatto, ma poi leggendo e capendo il perchè, mi aveva stimolato a studiare maggiormente la fotografia e sopratutto la post produzione. Questo perchè Shutterstock ha una funzione e un'efficienza che mi ha veramente stupito, perchè solitamente siamo abituati a sentirci dire che una cosa non va bene senza tante spiegazioni, mentre la piattaforma in questione, mi aveva spiegato foto per foto quali fossero i problemi che andavano risolti per poter essere pubblicata e venduta. Un valore aggiunto enorme per un fotografo, poter sapere dove sono i specifici errori e poter provvedere a risolverli, dove possibile. Se mi fossero state semplicemente negate, non avrai saputo cosa fare per rimediare al rifiuto, mentre grazie ai dettagli sugli errori, posso andare ad elaborare nuovamente i file originali RAW, che detengo in duplice copia di ogni foto, sistemando le lacune presenti e potendo fare una nuova richiesta di valutazione.
I have about 1000 photos that can be eligible once all the necessary adjustments have been made. The work will be long, but being able to upload them to around 10 different sites, thus becoming 10,000 images for sale, resellable indefinitely, the possibilities of a good passive income could really materialize. Not to mention that in the meantime, with the new photographic equipment, I will be able to obtain more and more important images at a photographic level.
My dream is this: to be able to concentrate my work on photography and obtain an income that can one day guarantee my livelihood. I believe in myself and my abilities, but to achieve this goal, I must not give up or falter even if it is difficult because it will always be difficult. Ho circa 1000 foto che possono essere eleggibili una volta sistemate tutte a dovere, il lavoro sarà lungo, ma potendo caricarle su circa 10 siti diversi, diventando così 10.000 immagini in vendita, rivendibili all'infinito, le possibilità di una buona entrata passiva potrebbero realmente concretizzarsi, senza aggiungere che nel frattempo con la nuova strumentazione fotografica sarò in grado di ottenere sempre più immagini importanti a livello fotografico.
Il mio sogno sarebbe questo, poter concentrare il mio lavoro nella fotografia e ottenere una rendita che un giorno possa garantirmi da vivere. Ci credo e credo nelle mie capacità, ma per raggiungere questo obiettivo, non dovrò mollare o demordere se sarà dura, perchè sarà sempre dura, ma un passo alla volta arriverò dove voglio stare e faticare per qualcosa che amo fare.

A me spiace rovinare un tuo sogno, era un sogno anche mio... visto che sissim mi ha sgridato per la mia analisi crudele, posso dire che Eyeem all'inizio non era male, ma a mio parere pagava bene per attirare fotografi, poi si è degenerato anche lui. Ti consiglio di guardare le review dei vari siti, magari le cose cambiano nel tempo. Io attualmente ho centinaia di foto su Adobe Stock, Fotolia ed Eyeem (altre centinaia su Shutterstock ma ho negato il diritto alla vendita, stanno lì nel limbo perchè dopo tutte le sere perse per caricarle mi spiaceva cancellarle). Guadagni? Qualche decina di euro in svariati anni. Poi magari se di foto ne pubblichi 10000, il discorso può cambiare, ma ne vale la pena? Hive è una cosa diversa, non si possono paragonare le cose.
Si esatto Hive è un'altro mondo. Nessuno di quei siti possono mai dare quello che genererebbe Hive con 10000 foto, anche se necessità di una grandissima quantità di scrittura e interazione, ma che è un pregio per me, perché impari molto, come io per questo post, sto imparando di più dopo averlo scritto grazie appunto all'interazione. Anche altri hanno denigrato Shutterstock, io ero partito da lì perché come niubbo uno valeva l'altro per capire come funzionava quel mondo, ma ho capito che è meglio non ci perda tanto tempo e guardo bene di fare qualcosa con gli altri in caso, sempre dedicando solo una piccola fetta del mio tempo, perché c'entra sempre la fotografia, ma la strada viene segnata da altro, in primis Hive ora come ora. Grazie per la convenzione, è stato utile sentire e capire un pare discordante al post 😉.
Prego, figurati. Shutterstock era buono, poi qualche anno fa hanno stravolto un po' tutto e i fotografi in massa hanno lasciato. Nulla vieta che in futuro le cose cambino in meglio (ma non credo) in ogni caso teniamo gli occhi aperti.
Speriamo in bene, ma in questo caso la vedo in peggiorare anch'io, però magari nasce qualcos'altro di interessante per i fotografi, grazie anche al mondo delle crypto, magari qualcosa ancora più specifico di Hive.
Mai smettere di esplorare, il mondo appunto è in continuo cambiamento
Hive è er MEJO! Hive è il posto virtuale che mi ha dato più soddisfazione tra tutti i social ed i siti di vendita che ho provato negli ultimi 15 anni. Senza ombra di dubio.

About other way to sell pics? I have tried may sites, no way, there isn't nothing good. Try FineArtAmerica (more for painting, also for photographs, they are serious). Now I'm on Visura, they seem very serious, but until now I have sold no pics, maybe I haven't not so much pictures or articles to sell, so let's wait. About Adobe, Fotolia, Eyeem... All SHIT.

Perchè non c'è granchè di positivo in quel mondo, solo squali. In ogni caso l'ho detto, forse l'unico che si salva è fineartamerica. Probabilmente anche Visura ma ho ancora poco materiale ed è comunque più professionale. I siti di microstock sono TUTTI una enorme PERDITA DI TEMPO. Ci sono passato, lo dico per esperienza diretta. Shutterstock poi è il peggiore di tutti... Non solo ha truffato noi fotografi, ma anche i compratori, ma per l'amore di dio ma c'è ancora qualcuno che ci perde del tempo??
Che Hive sia il migliore social/blog/piattaforma è senza ombra di dubbio verissimo, ma non paragono Hive a questi siti di cui parli. Primo perchè non ho esperienza in quei siti per replicare e ho iniziato dal primo, ma uno valeva l'altro per iniziare. Poi quei siti una volta caricate le foto, se entra qualcosa è tutto passivo, non ci devi più far nulla, per cui non vedo perchè non provarci, anche se immagino che sia verissimo che lucrano sui creators, ma avendo centinaia di foto disponibili la a far niente perchè no?
Lo dicevo anch'io prima di provarci. Per guadagnare qualcosa di decente le foto devono essere migliaia, non centinaia. Partendo da 1000 foto, e con tutte le foto che scarteranno, anche se valide e belle, con criteri a volte discutibili, si fa poco. Poi ognuno è libero di sprecare il tempo come meglio crede, ma visto che sono stato interpellato ho detto la mia. Inoltre si fa verso un mondo dove se qualcuno ha bisogno di una foto, chiede di crearla dal nulla dall'intelligenza artificiale, quindi non penso che la situazione migliorerà. Se poi arriverà un sito di vendita onesto, magari perchè no, ma sono rimasto deluso da quasi tutti.
Io comprendo e condivido quello che dici, perché conoscendo il mondo la fuori, sono tutti squali e in ogni dove sono solo lì per spremerti. Io nel post esagero con l'entusiasmo, per renderlo un po' più scorrevole e leggero, ma so com'è e che è una strada lunga e con tanti interrogativi, ma non so basa sicuramente su shutterstock o sulla vendita di copyright, sarebbe solo una piccola fetta della torta, che può anche andare a male e non sconvolgerebbe comunque. Ma rimane la possibilità di un'entrata passiva coinvolgendo più piattaforme e utilizzando foto che magari rimarrebbero la per niente. Che poi il miglior luogo in assoluto per fotografi principianti come me rimane sempre e solo Hive.
Intanto sei partito, ha arrivata la prima soddisfazione, ti auguro che d'ora in poi si ripetano costantemente e con intensità crescente, caro Fede...

At the moment I can't suggest the best, because sometimes luck is on our side. There's nothing wrong with trying first to become a contributor to some of the top-ranked microstocks, you can feel the competition which will have a positive impact on our photography insights.

Ho appena letto i commenti, non potrei neanche replicare, perchè non li conosco e non conosco ancora questo mondo, potrebbe esagerare come aver ragione su tutto. Dice che Hive è il meglio, si certo, ne sono convinto anch'io, ma sono cose completamente diverse. Hive necessita un continuo approccio e i post per ottenere belle rewards devono essere ben sviluppati e raccontare qualcosa di interessante, li è un'altra cosa, carichi le foto, inserisci le parole chiave e poi si arrangia, se non vengono vendute amen, ma non è che ci passi i giorni li, poi va da se.

Anch'io pensavo così prima di approfondire un po', ma invece sono aperti a tutti purché le foto rientrino in determinati parametri, poi sicuramente se hai un nome come fotografo avrai anche un impatto maggiore perché ti cercano per nome, mentre nel mio caso è fortuna che qualcuno cerca quella specifica immagine. !PGM

La stra è lunga e questa è una piccola tappa di una frazione del progetto ma va portato avanti perché tornerà tutto utile un giorno se continuo con costanza. Guarda amico mio, ti dirò: il solo fatto che Shutterstock ti abbia accettato 14 foto è già tanto: nel forum finanziario italiano per il guadagno online c'è gente che ha dovuto desistere. Shutterstock è molto esigente e nel forum si tratta di ragazzi che al massimo possono scattare foto da cellulare (per quanto moderno e dalla camera tripla o quadrupla, non si può paragonare all'attrezzatura di un fotografo professionista), ma la piattaforma, per il tipo di foto che richiede, anzi per meglio dire, per la perfezione che richiede, abbisogna di un'attrezzatura professionale, che mi pare di capire che per fortuna tu hai già. Quindi, via libera alle correzioni per rendere le foto come le vogliono🐣. Agli utenti che invece un'attrezzatura professionale vera non l'hanno, invece non me la sentirei affatto di suggerirgli di comprarla perchè so che sono spese che costano una fucilata e se poi non riescono ad ammortizzarle oppure ci vogliono troppi anni? L'ex fidanzato della mia migliore amica, che aveva la passione della fotografia, aveva speso per una macchina fotografica di quelle vere le migliaia, infatti🤑.
Nel frattempo, mentre ci sono, vorrei chiederti se sai dirmi se tutti i microtoken (PGM, PIZZA, BEER, LUV, LOLZ e compagnia bazzicante😂) sono altcoin o hanno diversa nomenclatura (non ha importanza sapere la nomenclatura esatta: mi basta sapere se sono altcoin o meno). La risposta potrebbe cambiarmi le carte in tavola con il fisco brasiliano. Se non sono altcoin, significa che dall'anno prossimo sarò al riparo da qualsiasi accertamento fiscale se accumulo HP sopra la soglia di esenzione dagli obblighi informativi. Quest'anno sto infatti vedendo una nuova voce cripto sulla guida all'IR persone fisiche (almeno, mi è parsa nuova, poi la mia commercialista dirà) per criptomonete che non sono nè bitcoin, nè NFT, nè stable coin, nè appunto altcoin. Sperando che i microtoken sopra citati e le altre palate a seguire su hive-engine non siano proprio altcoin. Anche se in ogni caso i power down per motivi di salute mi toccano comunque e infatti ho già fatto partire il primo corposissimo, ma con tanto di articolo esplicativo, dovendo riporre almeno metà spesa ospedaliera.
