I am not up to date on who is the leader in the semiconductor market, but I would assume that USA and TAIWAN (with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) are among the main producers. I believe that USA will certainly maintain its position and that in the future the use of semiconductors will expand because we will have even more devices on which they will be mounted. For example, cars are now computers and need semiconductors. Just these days I was looking for an ETF to invest in semiconductors
