I've been doing OK with combining my extras CL cards to max for Silver ( 5 for common, 4 for Rare , 3 for Epic and 2 for Legendry) and renting at that level, prior to that they were just sitting idle and unrentable at the lower levels.
I used to have a Silver alt that xbot played in wild, but since the Wild Pass cme in, it has not been worth the 2k DEC to run it. I experimented last season and rented some cards to help it out, between card rentals, and needing to rent SPS, it didn't pay. The bot got me into Diamond but my SPS was too low to earn much
I'm not sure if they will be useful in Survival Mode, if that is even playable below max level, but if it is I should have some duplicates to play with

Yeah, the Wild Pass killed my chance to play in the Wild Format, both manually and with a bot, as I couldn't earn enough to make it worth it... however renting carda is working pretty well and I'm finally enojoying a bit of stability on SPL, which I'm not used to 🤣
From the Chaos Legion set I only kept two maxed legendary summoners, as I've been able to rent them really well (more than 2 monthes with a steady APR of at least 20%), but I'm happy you are also succeding in renting your cards, now that you have increased their level! :)
I completely missed the new Surival Mode... I need to check what it is! :)
