The old masters would have been thrilled not to waste their labor on the part of the creation that was all manual labor that any lab assistant could do. It would increase the amount of time they would have to focus on the real details that mattered to them and sped up their production. There well always be the purists claiming nothing can be done by machine, and if that makes them happy so be it.

The world is going to be increasingly run by robotic mechanisms programmed by humans. At least until we can teach the machines to program themselves which is already starting.

Those are some cool hobbies by the way, I keep considering getting a good 3 D printer but I'm sure in would suck me down the rabbit hole and I'd end up spending more and more money to get upgrades! lol

Ah AH, the main problem with 3d Printers is 3d modelling, those programs are really difficult to use and I can' t seem to stick to one for more than a few years, now I use Freecad, before I used Fusion 360 that claims to be free, but it has increasing limitations every year.
