Today is the day to increase my collection of epic cards in Rising Star Game and after looking at the market I found 2 cards for a good price that will be of great help to increase my number of Fans in the game and also my number of unique cards since I don't have any of them in my collection.
At the beginning of this month I set myself the goal of reaching 200,000 Fans on my Rising Star Game account, Fans are important because they increase my STARBITS earnings in missions so the more Fans I have the greater my STARBITS earnings will be and that means the greater my earnings will be in the game.
To reach 200,000 Fans I have 2 options:
Buy and open packs, in this option I will receive random cards and each pack contains 3 cards, 1 of which is rare or higher rarity.
Buy the cards directly from the market.
Buying cards directly from the market is a good strategy because I can get cards for a good price that may increase in value in the future and because I won't depend on luck like I do with packs, but I prefer to open packs because I find it more fun and because since I started opening them I've been lucky most of the time to get a higher number of Fans than the number of Fans I would get if I had spent the same amount of STARBITS buying the cards from the market.
Today I won't be opening packs but rather increasing my collection of epic cards in the game and after looking at the market for new opportunities I found 2 cards that are at a good price, both are epic vehicles and they are the E223 Bulletproof Limo and the E255 Progstar GT.
The E223 Bulletproof Limo will increase my number of Fans by 900.
The E255 Progstar GT will increase my number of Fans by 1,100.
As I mentioned before, both of these cards will be unique to me since I don't have any of them in my collection yet and they will be a great acquisition to help me climb the leaderboard.
The lowest price for the E223 Bulletproof Limo is 76,000 STARBITS and given the amount of Fans it gives, this is a good buy, but I can probably get more Fans by opening packs.
The lowest price for the E255 Progstar GT is 98,691 STARBITS and this is also a good price for the amount of Fans, but I can probably get more Fans by opening packs.
Even though the amount of Fans is lower than the amount of Fans I would probably get by opening packs, these are 2 epic cards that will probably appreciate in the future, so it's a good investment and the difference in Fans I would get by spending these STARBITS on packs is small, plus I mentioned before that they will be useful as unique cards to help me on the leaderboard.
After spending 174,691 STARBITS I finally have these 2 epic vehicles in my collection and adding the Fans of both, I increased my amount of Fans by 2,000.
174,691 STARBITS is the equivalent of 0.578 Swap.Hive or $0.29 considering the current value of Hive.
In addition to my goal of reaching 200,000 Fans this month, I have a main goal in Splinterlands which is to own at least 1 of every card that exists in the game and for that reason I sometimes stop opening packs to look for opportunities in the market since most of the cards currently cannot be obtained in packs, but it will probably take me several months to reach this goal.
After adding these 2 vehicles to my collection in Rising Star Game, my number of Fans went up to 127,753 and now I have 72,247 Fans left to reach my goal of 200,000 Fans this month.
