I have a camera I’m reviewing at the moment. In order to do so I have to go around taking photos with it, processing the photos, and then doing the actual review based on my experience with the camera and the quality of the photos.

These photos in this post aren’t from the said camera, but from my iPhone that I also had on me to record video. I couldn’t help snapping some photos with my phone, however, because I can have those digital versions to compare with the film ones when they’re out.

It’s a disposable film camera by the way. I think it’s a niche market these days and hence it’s an expensive hobby. Very expensive hobby. It costs so much to develop that I was basically spending nearly 50 pence per shot.

We’ve had some outstanding weather over the past five days. I took the opportunity to get out and take some photos over the weekend and get some much needed outdoors time while at it.

Peace & Love,

Adé

Much like @meno I’ve not used film in 19 years, which is a scary timeline. I cut my teeth on Velvia and Provia back in the day. Happy memories.

It will be fun to see the end results of your film roll.

The weather has been beautiful this month hasn’t it?! Recorded some 360 footage today. Will post some.

Ah super colourful Velvia. That was my holiday film - made everything more exotic :)

Mine too! Very blue seas, lovely green landscapes. Saturation, eat your heart out!

Uh... i want see what you can do on street what this color film 👌😅☕🍺

LOL now the pressure is mounting :D

😆👌👌👌🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️☕

Film is trendy these days! Clients have been paying extra for us to shoot it.

Oh wow, that's interesting. I would have expected the latest presets to have finally replaced film. That's good to hear.

Looks like those shots are gonna be so worth it! Love the shot with those geese. Can't wait to see the developed film :D

Ah me too. I took a few of those swans and geese just to make sure. I hope the film actually comes out and doesn't turn out empty.

Good decision on that haha. Yeah, hoping for the best!

dude, for a second, before reading the ending of the post, I was going to say I was blown away with the quality... lol

I can't say I've used film for more than a decade at this point. So, I'm very curious about the results

LOL. I'm also curious.. sending it off tomorrow morning to the lab. Knowing my luck, it will come back empty 😆
