Hey there! The other day, I had to leave early to take care of some paperwork related to my RIF. Even though I arrived at a good time, I ended up finishing right at noon, and by then, I was really hungry.
I remembered that in the Churun Merú mall, there’s a place I really like: Kilo Gourmet. I’ve tried their pastries and empanadas before—they're delicious! I’ve also had some of their desserts. But what caught my attention the last time I visited was their participation in a competition for the best empanada in Venezuela. Their menu featured the famous Kilua Empanada, and from the moment I tried it, I loved it.
This empanada is surprising because it literally weighs a kilo and is filled with chicken, beef, chorizo, and cheese—like a grilled meat stuffing. So this time, I didn’t hesitate to order it again, and it tasted even better. The best part? It only costs $3, making it a delicious and budget-friendly option.
I will definitely be going back to Kilo Gourmet, and next time, I want to try their famous 20 Fillings Arepas. I’m sure they’re just as good as their empanadas!

Holis, El otro día tuve que salir temprano para hacer algunos trámites relacionados con mi RIF. Aunque llegué a buena hora, terminé saliendo justo al mediodía, y para ese momento ya tenía bastante hambre.
Recordé que en el centro comercial Churun Merú hay un lugar que me gusta mucho: Kilo Gourmet. En otras ocasiones he probado sus pastelitos y empanadas, que son deliciosos, además de algunos postres. Pero lo que más me llamó la atención la última vez que fui fue su participación en una competencia por la mejor empanada de Venezuela. En su menú tenían la famosa empanada Kilua, y desde que la probé, me encantó.
Esta empanada es sorprendente porque literalmente pesa un kilo y está rellena con pollo, carne, chorizo y queso, como una especie de relleno de parrilla. Así que esta vez no dudé en volver a pedirla, y me pareció aún mejor. Lo mejor es que solo cuesta 3 dólares, lo que la convierte en una opción deliciosa y bastante económica.
Definitivamente, volveré a Kilo Gourmet, y la próxima vez quiero probar sus famosas arepas 20 rellenos. ¡Seguro que son tan buenas como sus empanadas!
