Yesterday, I picked up my son from school and we decided to stop by the market before heading home at 4 pm. The weather was scorching hot and vendors were setting up their stalls. The market was a flea market, known for gathering delicious and famous food from Bangkok to be sold in Phuket. It was the time when students were out of school, so there were many students and parents shopping for food and drinks.
As we walked through the market, I saw a stall selling battered calamari which looked very appetizing. The heat was intense, so I decided to buy a sweet cold smoothie to quench my thirst. I also came across a stall selling kimbap Tteokbokki, which is a Korean food that I had only seen in Korean dramas. I decided to try it and was fascinated by the taste.
Before leaving, I also bought some boiled squid with sauce. The merchant told me that this species of squid is raised in Thailand, but not available in the country because they are all sold abroad. It was a delicious and interesting experience to try all the different kinds of food at the market and I couldn't wait to go back and explore more.

Thank you, we were very happy and full.
The foods look interesting. Is the first one crispy squids?
Yes, it's battered squid eaten with dipping sauce.
The food is looking spectacular. What's inside those bags that are next to the fruit (the sixth photo)?
Thank you. It's a fruit. It's called "Madras Thorn"
Beautiful captures 👍
