While not large at all, the city of Pazin is definitively much more than what you'll see in the post.

These shots are just about some buildings on the edge of the city.

Most of them are relatively modern.

Most but not all.

This lovely piece of architecture is there since 1913.

The building shown in this photograph, adds a nice dose of vivid yellow to the grayish atmosphere of the typical winter day.

And that's it.

It isn't much else I can tell you about these buildings, the cloudy weather, and the city.

I mean, there could be more to say, if I weren't in such a lazy mood. I'm too sleepy today to talk about Pazin, so I outsourced most of the talking to the picture that can say more than a thousand words. Or so the saying says.

I spent the afternoon driving around the peninsula on the 29th of December 2022. I did it because I like to do things I like the most on my birthday. Yes. I was celebrating my birthday with two good friends in the car. We were driving around with no particular destination in mind. Places we visited were decided along the way. It was more about driving, talking, joking, and listening to the music from the car stereo, more than anything else. But we did a few stops, and I took a bunch of photographs. The weather was dull and gray. The winter atmosphere and the state nature is currently in, with all those muted colors and barren trees didn't match our mood at all. Anyway, in today's post, you'll see only the shots I took when we stopped for a couple of minutes in a suburban neighborhood on the outskirts of Pazin, a small city in the central part of Istra. The neighborhood is situated on a hill with a nice view of the rest of the city. Have a good viewing.

AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.

Happy Birthday Borjan!

I love how architecture over there seems harmonious and has similar style. Though it may seem boring but I think they look neat. It's something I rarely see where I am from.

Hi. Thanks. 🎄Have a happy new year🎄 🙂 For me all types of urban architecture have a specific charm. Even the ugliest block buildings. Especially when seen through the lens of the camera. One can find beauty and cool stuff practically everywhere through photography.

Belated happy birthday 🎉🎉!
1913, wow means that building has been proudly standing for a hundred years!
I got curios where is Istra I asked google and found it in Croatia.

Thank you. 🙂 Have a great new year. 🎄 Greetings from Croatia.

It looks like a nice city, is it in Croatia ya? You got a nice high vantage point to take the photos

yes, Croatia. It has an old town deeper in the valley. It's easy to photograph from the surrounding hills 🙂 No need for a drone.

Ah cool, always nice to talk a stroll in the hills or mountains

Very foggy look today! Someone set up a bonfire just outside the town and use a big fan to make the foggy atmosphere! Some nice old Buildings there too.

Every building in the city is amazing and very beautifully designed. Especially the upper part of the building looks very beautiful.

Just one word. Good shot

Old is gold, I love the Yellow color and the building painted in yellow color attracts me the most. it doesn't means other buildings are not beautiful, they are also beautiful and attractive. I love your photography. keep it up.

Great pictures as always bro...
Love the aesthetic look of the building...

A gray day indeed 🙂

I've never actually been to Pazin, but it sure looks a really fascinating place to visit! Awesome photos as always! !LOLZ

I haven't sold a single copy of my autobiography.
Sigh. That's the story of my life.

A beautiful city in wintery mode. Pretty.

Wow....since 1913, Its very amazing. Well, architectural technology may not have been as advanced as it is today, but we can certainly learn that durability is the main focus of a building in that year. Even Pazin is unique today, when compared to the characteristics of buildings today, sometimes buildings are beautiful but not sturdy.

All the house maps look the same and look very beautiful. Even in our country, if a person works in real estate and he builds and sands houses, he sees the maps of all the houses in the same way so that he does not get cloned. Old is gold. It doesn't look like this building is that old and it was built in 1913. I like the map of this building better than today's maps and it looks much stronger.
