Hace ya un tiempo conocí uno de los restaurantes del Chef José Gómez.
Fuí y visité Cantina con alguien a quien quiero y admiro mucho, nos debíamos esa salida a ese sitio siempre decíamos para ir y entre la rutina de cada uno pues íbamos desechando ese propuesta que no hicimos.
Hasta que un día, sin pensarlo mucho y de noche nos pusimos de acuerdo y fuimos 🌃
Visitamos la sede del Centro de la Ciudad porque era que la nos quedaba más cerca a ambos, pero realmente tiene un par de sedes ya si mal no recuerdo.
Some time ago I met one of Chef José Gómez's restaurants.
I went and visited Cantina with someone I love and admire very much, we owed each other that outing to that place we always said to go and between the routine of each one we were discarding that proposal that we did not do.
Until one day, without thinking much and at night we agreed and we went 🌃.
We visited the City Center because it was the closest to both of us, but actually it has a couple of locations if I remember correctly.
La ida estuvo realmente de lujo, como fuimos en un horario poco convencional disfrutamos de las luces del centro de Caracas y la gente que estaba turisteando su propia ciudad de noche también así que le daba un egregor de lujo para la ocasión.
Llegamos por fin al restaurante, en una casa colonial con una gran plaza descubierta en el medio que me parecía fabuloso. Se combina arquitectura y buena atención en un solo lugar.
Compartimos una cálida y amena conversación junto a un Nestea, una ensalada estilo César y unos slices de pizza, yo pedí caprese ya que es una de mis favoritas 🍕 🥗
The going was really luxurious, as we went at an unconventional time we enjoyed the lights of downtown Caracas and the people who were sightseeing their own city at night too, so it gave it a luxury egregore for the occasion.
We finally arrived at the restaurant, in a colonial house with a large open square in the middle that I thought was fabulous. It combines architecture and good service in one place.
We shared a warm and pleasant conversation along with a Nestea, a Caesar style salad and some pizza slices, I ordered caprese since it is one of my favorites 🍕 🥗 🥗
El aceto balsámico no solo realzó la ensalada junto a mi pizza sino también las carcajadas y el agradable momento.
También recuerdo y sólo por las fotos que fue divertida la experiencia de colorear el mantel de papel que te dan para que hagas lo que yo denominé una catarsis gastronómica.
Los que trabajan ahí además se veían muy felices de ser parte del equipo de trabajo y la marca Cantina con su distintivo traje amarillo.
La cuenta la traen en una cartuchera para brindar la experiencia entera de que estás en una Cantina y de regalo, unos caramelitos, la joya del servicio.
The balsamic vinegar not only enhanced the salad along with my pizza but also the laughter and the pleasant moment.
I also remember and just from the pictures that it was fun to color the paper tablecloth they give you to do what I called a gastronomic catharsis.
The people who work there also looked very happy to be part of the staff and the Cantina brand in their distinctive yellow attire.
The bill is brought in a cardboard box to give you the whole experience that you are in a Cantina and as a gift, some caramelitos, the jewel of the service.
Los platillos en el lugar no son como de los otros restaurantes de José Gómez, creo que son bastantes accesibles en relación costo-beneficio pero también costo-experiencia.
Luego de ahí tuvimos una leve caminata para terminar un espléndido encuentro que espero se pueda repetir pronto y si es posible ahí y en otros lugares.
The dishes in the place are not like the other restaurants of José Gómez, I think they are quite accessible in relation to cost-benefit but also cost-experience.
After that we had a short walk to finish a splendid encounter that I hope can be repeated soon and if possible there and in other places.
