After seeing @Love.Lindsay's post of some beautiful yachts, I decided I would include some of my favourites I've seen since living in Gibraltar.
Nord - Ranked 12th largest in the world, has a length of 142M and was built by Lurssen Yachts. Owned by a Russian (of course)
Eclipse - At one point was the biggest super yacht but currently ranked 4th. She was built by Blohm + Voss in Germany. Roman Abramovich owned her from new but I believe he's no longer the owner - I guess he's moved on to something "better:
Octopus - This super comes to Gib a lot, I captured some pics on a rather cloudy day! I believe she was once owned by a cofounder of Microsoft ,who died and left her to his wife!
I didn't take a photo of the back of the other 2 yachts, so can't remember the name of them but they were slightly smaller than the top 3. Wouldn’t mind being the owner of either of them though!
If you ever were lucky enough to own a super yacht, what would you call her?
I've seen some names like "checkmate" or "I win" and I personally don't like those arrogant names. I would go with something like "Lucky Lindsay" or something related to how I made the money to afford it. Maybe I can call mine "Hive Five"

Superyachts are mighty, I definitely want to travel on one for a longer voyage at some point. I'd probably call mine Baby Shark lol.

P.S cheaper to go on a 1 or 2 week cruise but not exactly the same experience lol
They're so impressive! The size, the amount of people who are required to move them and the level of wealth required to own one. one word POWER!
