I am blessed to be selected as one of the participants in the Business Summit by Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the theme “Empowering Business for the New Era”. The MCCI hosts this business summit on an annual basis. I've been invited to the summit hosted yearly in Waterfront Lahug for the previous three years. I look forward to attending this summit every year because I will get the opportunity to see some of the CEOs, VPs, Managers, and Directors of some of the companies in Cebu City. Seeing these folks motivates me to work hard in my industry and start a business soon.
The greatest speakers from around the world have been invited to this year's business summit. One of them talked about the macroeconomic update for the Philippines. The other one discussed Sweden's economic situation and how they have protected their environment with the help of established and expanding businesses in their nation as we learned about sustainability in the circular economy. With technological advancements and commercial breakthroughs, we have also embraced the new era. Finally, one of the presenters discussed leadership and the ultimate aspiration a person may have. It was a really productive day. I can say that I have a long way to go in my profession and that, in the long run, I hope to have a significant impact on my society or on our entire country.
