My late grandmother celebrated her 88th birthday on April 8th, and we have visited her every year since she died ten years ago. This year, I, my cousin, and my uncle were the only ones that paid grandma a visit because the majority of our family members were at work on a weekday. Since Typhoon Odette hit, there have been various changes brought about by the typhoon, such as the big cross bending and the big trees being cut. My cousin Raxel and I enjoy visiting them and conversing to them as if they are merely listening. We also weirdly enjoy the tranquil environment of the cemetery. We were very close to our grandmother when she was still alive, and although though we were still young at the time, me being 12 and Raxel being 6, there are many memories that we share with our grandmother that we still remember and like talking about. After lighting a candle, making an offering of flowers, and saying our prayers, we returned home and celebrated with the rest of the family by having supper together.

How sad losing your grandma when you were so young. Really nice of you to visit and find some peaceful reflection.
Best wishes to you :-)
That is so nice of you, I really do still miss her even if it's alread6 10 years ago. Thank you for your wishes. Lots of love.
Sorry to tell you but as you get older, the pain of loss decreases but you will always miss loved ones and never forget. I am 56 and I still remember all the people I have lost over the years.
They simply become happy memories but it would be still nice if they were here in person !
are those pews made of cement? wow. i never seen that before. :P
Yes they are. 😄
