Cuando llegas a tierras que te son extrañas, que alguien te de la bienvenida hace que el camino sea mas tranquilo. Estos amiguitos guia que encontré en diferentes lugares, sin duda se quedaron con mi corazón durante el viaje.
A los cuatro primeros los encontré en las lomas de Cubiro, luego de presentarse decidieron acompañarme en mi almuezo.
Al quinto lo vi subiendo una colina, quién sabe hacia dónde se dirigía, pero realmente me inspiró a seguir con mi ruta.
Al sexto lo vi cruzando un río, también en Cubiro, a paso decidido y sin estremecerse ante las frías aguas que atravesaba.
Al último lo vi echado, feliz y descansado, en la caliente arena de la playa La Rosa, estado Carabobo. Lo vi quedarse allí por horas, y solo pensé en lo cómodo que se veía y en lo mucho que me gustaría llegar a ser como él: solo un perrito que reposa en la arena y cuando despierta toma un baño a la orilla del mar.
No creo que los vaya a volver a ver, como estrellas fugaces, a lo lejos los vi solo una vez. Así son los amigos que haces en el camino, se quedan poco en tu vida, pero se hacen espacio en el corazón y vuelven en la forma de un dulce recuerdo.

When you arrive in lands that are strange to you, having someone welcome you makes the road calmer. These little guide friends that I found in different places, without a doubt, stayed in my heart during the trip.
I found the first four ones in the hills of Cubiro, after introducing themselves they decided to accompany me to my lunch.
I saw the fifth one going uphill, who knows where he was going, but it really inspired me to continue with my route.
I saw the Sixth one crossing a river, also in Cubiro, at a determined pace and without shuddering at the cold waters it crossed.
I saw the last one lying, happy and rested, on the hot sand of La Rosa beach, Carabobo state. I watched it stay there for hours, and I just thought about how comfortable it looked and how much I would like to be like that dog: just a little dog that rests on the sand and when wakes up takes a bath on the seashore.
I don't think I'll see them again, like shooting stars, in the distance I saw them only once. That's how the friends you make along the way are, they stay in your life for a short time, but they stay in your heart and come back in the form of a sweet memory.
