Traveling is one of my favorite activity since I was young, single, and free to go anywhere friends and family plans to go. When I have a family of my own and have a baby, traveling was a bit set aside knowing the hassle bringing all baby's stuffs and all. This time my husband and I endure the heavy luggage and all the bag we had on our way and back to our city from the beautiful island of Camotes, far north of Cebu city.
We took a RoRo boat from the port of Danao and then waited two hours to reach the Camotes. The moment we got to the port of Camotes, there was a cab waiting for us to gave us a tour in different tourist spots and one of those is the Lake Danao. This place is know for its its adventurous activities like ziplining and among others that people enjoyed by the lake.
My husband, niece and I wanted to try the Zipline so we had it after we had lunch at floating cottages just in the same lake.
To be able to try the Zipline we need to register first by paying 250 pesos or roughly 7.5 hive. Then someone assisted us to the steel building where we start our route to the other lake. It was a bit tall steel building, like 5 floors. It was tough for me going up since I gained a lot of weight a d less exercise.
When we got there on top, we were provided a safety harness and helmet. The zipline was just about one minute but it was still scary for a first timer just like my niece. Well, I got scared too but not that bad for I have tried zipline many times in different areas.
To the other side of the lake, there were staffa waiting for us to bring us back to the main side of the lake by motor boat. It was fun especially that my whole family was with me on that vacation and my 1 year old seems to have fun as well and wasn't been a crying baby.
