The idea was to combine two arts, the culinary and painting, but this could not be done in an improvised way. We thought of the artist MªDolores Mulá, (through this link you can get to know her better), a connoisseur of our land, the sea, the light. On the other hand, in the kitchen, another artist, the chef Jaime Seva, (here the link to Hestia Lucentum, the cooking workshop). We arranged for the two of them to meet personally to see if the spark would fly. The result was truly magical and fun.
Chef Jaime prepared a menu for dinner with the flavors that MªDolores' work had inspired him. The dessert was the star of the dinner. The painter elaborated the design of the work with the ingredients that the chef proposed. On the table, turned into a canvas, strawberries, blueberry sponges, cheesecake, yoghurt, red fruit sauce and chocolates gave shape to the landscape.
A unique and unrepeatable dessert.
La idea era maridar dos artes, el culinario y la pintura, pero esto no podía hacerse de forma improvisada. Pensamos en la artista MªDolores Mulá, (a través de este enlace la podrán conocer mejor), conocedora de nuestra tierra, el mar, la luz. Por otro lado, en la parte de los fogones, otro artista, el chef Jaime Seva, (aquí el enlace a Hestia Lucentum, el taller de cocina). Hicimos que ambos pudieran conocerse personalmente para ver si saltaba la chispa. El resultado fue realmente mágico y divertido.
El chef Jaime elaboró un menú para la cena con los sabores que le había inspirado la obra de MªDolores. El postre se hizo con el protagonismo de la cena. La pintora elaboró el diseño de la obra con los ingredientes que el chef le propuso. Sobre la mesa, convertida en lienzo, fueron dando forma al paisaje las fresas, esponjas de arándanos, tarta de queso, yogurt, salsa de frutos rojos, bombones.
Un postre único e irrepetible.
