When Van Gogh painted his irises, they were purple. Over time the color turned blue. Experts say that the artist could see how the pigment was changing, but they are not clear if it was used on purpose.

Cuando Van Gogh pintó sus iris, estos eran de color púrpura. Con el paso del tiempo el color se fue tornando azul. Los expertos dicen que el artista pudo ver cómo el pigmento iba cambiando, pero no tienen claro si su uso fue a propósito.
