This bird sighting that I saw last week is a type of bittern birds that belong to the subfamily of Botaurinae of the Heron family Ardeidae. This particular bittern birds I'm not really sure of the exact species type. It's either the Yellow-Bittern or the Eurasian bittern. This type of heron birds are uncommon resident to the place where I got this picture. It is a non-breeding visitor at margins of freshwater wetlands. It's quite hard to get a clear view of this bittern as they hide behind the tall grass of paddy field swamp.
