What defined your year in 2021 (bored of Pandemic so lets not mention that)?
Improving my health was my main challenge, two years ago I was diagnosed with a brain condition where fluids build up causing too much pressure on my eyes, ears and brain. And since I am not eligible for any of the treatments, by the time January rolled around I was in very bad shape. I was experiencing terrible migraines, blindness and I had a constant roaring sound in both of my ears as if I was in the middle of a tornado.
Now I would like to take some of the credit for my improvement, but it was really all Sarah, she went nuts learning as much as she could about my condition, and she made me consume countless plants pills and potions in order to nurse me back to health.
My health today is much better, the migraines are duller and that roaring sound is now only in my right ear, so it’s much easier to hear people, although it is always there.
Even my vision is improving, while inside, with glasses, I can now see directly in front of me, but I still have large blind spots in my peripheral vision. Outside is a different story, due to the light, everything blends together so I can’t tell when cars are coming and who knows how many times Sarah has pulled me out from incoming traffic.
The last time it happened I walked out in front of a food delivery cyclist while staring directly at him, but in the light he looked just as greyed out as the road behind him and Sarah said that the cyclist could tell that I was blind because just before she pulled me away, he was beginning to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid me.
What are your goals in life for 2022?
To continue getting better, Sarah has found a new treatment that I’m about to start and just before Christmas, I met a new girl: @opidia, who had just joined Punk Legends Discord channel and while we spoke I realized that we used to know each other from another platform.
As we reconnected she explained that she’s a naturopath and now she is also working up a treatment plan for me too. I just assumed that channel would be a fun way to promote Punks on Hive and I never would have guessed that it might save my life, but the Punk community has been absolutely amazing.
And I don’t just mean in Punk Legends, I’m talking about everyone, from Blockhead Games to Liketu even down to the random NFT whales that have never even used hive before, but were willing to donate so many punks. I have seriously never met so many kind people in one community before.
What are your goals in crypto?
I would like to make enough money to remain married and living with Sarah. When we first met on Steemit we were very fortunate to have the community rally behind us, because I can’t even begin to describe how expensive it is to get through the financial requirements of the immigration process and unfortunately for this one they don’t consider a global pandemic an excuse.
This isn’t the first time they’ve tried separate Sarah and me, just after our honeymoon Sarah was forced to leave me behind and I had to fight like hell to get back to her. Imagine after a grueling16 hour flight you get arrested and interrogated, but unbeknownst to them I had spent those lonely months preparing for the interrogation and in the end, I finally got back to her.
So as you can imagine, I’ve been working around the clock on crypto related projects, to try to take some of the financial burdens off of Sarah and to ensure that they don’t separate us again.
Luckily, at Punk Legends we have a few very exciting projects that are just getting started and I can’t wait to share them with all of you. Also I really like what you guys are doing at Liketu, so I try to send as many people over to you as I can.
What would you like to see happen (generally speaking) in 2022?
I would like to be able to know for a fact that I’ll be allowed to spend the rest of my life with Sarah and I would also like to be in good heath, prospering while doing what I love.

In all of my limited years, I have tried to project myself as a "healthy" person. But the strange thing about that is I was actually very unhealthy. Outward appearances only serve as an illusory veil to the unhealthy habits driving my lifestyle.
Sometimes you see a person appear as fit as a Lion in the Sahara and all it is, is a projection to hide their insecurities.
Another aspect worth noting is the pursuit of "wealth" and what that actually brings. How much does wealth release us from our struggles and drive for a reasonable quality of life? Certainly, the powers that be have made it progressively more difficult for the working class (as they always have) and I don't see that changing any time soon.
I do hope that along with Liketu and the work all the passionately driven people here at Hive do, we can be one option for liberating those who are unknowingly strangled and oppressed.
