The seller that I have been buying from lately brings many pieces that I have never heard of before. I saw this buying as an opportunity. Scottsdale mint seals the first 5% minted coins and puts them in assays called Alpha Strike. Usually you pay a little bit more on top of the initial coin, but thinking forward it can be sold by a bit more in the future.
It is a nice coin this 2024 Cayman Islands' 1oz silver coin. It is part of the Cayman Island's sea life series. Actually, they mint the "Marlin" every year, I saw that they have a 2023 and other years' versions. In addition, they mint a turtle and a stingray as well. I paid this alpha strike for 10$ over the premium, which is a bit more compared to the regular version. The cool thing is that you can validate the authenticity through their mobile app as the figure shows.
The Cayman Islands are a fiscal paradise that is heard frequently on criminal movies that used the banks in these islands to hide their money. In addition, it is a beautiful Caribbean paradise with nice beaches to rest especially from harsh winters like I have here where I live. The Marlin I also heard a lot from friends who like to sport fishing. It is a very difficult fish to hook since it is a big and rare fish in the oceans.
If silver goes up I intend to get a bit more money in this piece which I consider temporarily in my collection. I think that we need to foresee getting rid of our silver pieces once a day to get some profit. There are some pieces that I am going to stay with for a long time, but others will be used to trade like this one. What do you think?
