It was the weekend, and I was looking for a relaxing place to spend my time. Then I remembered the newly opened coffee shop in Cebu's IL Corso. So I immediately asked a friend if she wanted to come with me, and she said yes, and we agreed to meet after lunch.
The shop was completely packed when we arrived. We wanted to stay inside, but all of the tables were taken, so we we had no choice but to stay outside, where their other tables were set up. The serving time was a little long, but that was understandable given how busy the shop was. So, while waiting, we kept ourselves occupied by simply looking around, taking in the nice, calm ambiance of the place.
Fast forward and our orders were served. I bought a blueberry frappe paired with a blueberry muffin, while my fried ordered a Java chip frappe and a brownie. I must say that the food was tasty and worth the wait. Overall, this new coffee shop experience is a ten out of ten!
