We were on our pajamas when we went out on Valentine's day. Well, not literally wearing our jim-jams, we just didn't dress to impress so to speak. I wasn't really in the mood to be in the crowd that day but the husband was insistent and me being the obedient wifey couldn't say no. LOL!
Putting the joke aside, I had some cravings that he teased me with so I was not able to refuse. We were to try a newly-opened food place but on arriving, it was already full. It was only half past 5 on an early evening! Most, if not all were young couples, by that I mean students, and they were plenty. Even the tables at the restaurant's patio and its balcony on the second floor were occupied.
And so we drove to the old lil cozy place farther away where we had coffee and lunch not so long ago. And guess what? The place was also filled with teens and their partners! But the good thing is that at least there was a few available tables so we didn't have to go elsewhere.
So we got our orders taken, gimbap or kimbap whatever you prefer to call it, clubhouse and rice meal intentionally for the farmboy. He can't last a day without rice, just so you know. Lol! But yeah, rice is a staple food for most of us here in the highlands. Some people would roll eyes on you when they hear you don't eat rice so it's best not to say a thing, haha!
I'm just joking, of course! Just that some people really cannot go a day without rice on their diet.
Anyhow, while waiting for our food, the husband took the liberty and made us coffee, white cup for me (I bet you can see the reflection on the pink cup which was his).
The evening turned out to be relaxing that we enjoyed the food, the chitchat and the whole company of teen love birds and even had a lil fun taking the above shot of the LeoFinance homepage opened on mobile alongside the hubby's coffee.
There wasn't anything fancy nor extravagance for the day, just us simply being us, hehe!

Yong kimbap, UwU. Sa wakas I had the chance to taste that, thanks to my classmate. Nakakaumay pala sya no aguyy. Bat mother loves it. Lalo at healthier version. Yon lang the seafoods that was in there mejo bawal sa paa nya haha. Pero okay rin sya, I think naka dalwa lanh alo umay na agad. Nakakailan ka bago maumay?
At last natikman mo sis :) Pwede tanggalin mama mo yung seafood bago nya kainin, lol! 4 ata nakain ko dyan. Si hubby malakas kumain haha! Depende sa kung anong fillings nya, nkakadami din ako ng kain non hehe.
