Making a new flavor of cake for my mom's mini bake business is a huge step up for us because this means our customers will now have variety of options to choose from and more possible orders to come.
We have been thinking about getting the red velvet into the menu before but my mom always hesitate because of how much it cost. She always thinks about of our customer first, if they are able to afford it hence she don't like to put too much cost for each of our cakes. As much as possible she wanted an affordable, budget friendly but at the same time delicious cakes to offer to our dear customers.
Until one day, someone ordered a wedding cake but would like to have it in red velvet as flavor. My mom, once again, is in huge hesitation. However, after some deep plan and thinking, we both decided to take the risk and step up from all our doubts and hesitations. She accepted the order and surprisingly, the newly married couple loved it!
You will never know if something will work out until you try it. Until you step out of your comfort zone and face your fear. I'm so glad we tried it. Red velvet is now officially up for sale!
