After Tierra Alta during our Negros Oriental trip, Sulfur Vent along the higway of Valencia was the next on our itinerary for day 1. However we got lost. We were brought to a different route leading to the cave which the residents believed to be a healing one.

While we were on the way, I got a feeling that we were not on the right route, but I paid no attention to it. I just put my trust on the driver/guide and enjoyed our forest-like (we passed through woods, bushes, and rough roads) experience that day. We were led to Oco Cave instead of the Sulfuric Rocky Mountain we expected to meet that day. So we got a bit discouraged.

But since we were already there, we just went on and experienced the cave.

Oco Cave is believed to be healing as it sulfuric inside. We got in, and never expected that we would get a steam bath, and be like in a Sauna, for free. I so loved it. I was sweating a lot when I came out, and it felt so relieving and relaxing.

My disappointment suddenly turned into "it was all worth the time and travel". Thanks to "Kuya" driver.
