Hey everyone! I'm thrilled to share my latest discovery of ramen here in Cebu. A new spot recently opened in Cebu IT Park, and I've been eager to try it out. However, I always ended up dining elsewhere due to the long queue. Luckily, last weekend, my hubby and I managed to secure a seat after a 10-minute wait. I was excited because my hubby treated me to the meal and suggested we try their recommended dish.
Since I adore shoyu ramen, I ordered it to share with my hubby, as I didn't want it to fill up too quickly. We also ordered gyoza and chahan to try. It was fascinating to watch the dishes being prepared right in front of us, giving us a glimpse of the cooking process. The ramen was delightful, even without the egg which I usually prefer. The noodles were perfectly al dente, the broth fragrant, and the toppings abundant and tempting. The portions were generous too; we couldn't even finish the chahan because we were so full.
Overall, our lunch date at Mendokoro was more than just a meal; it was a memorable experience. It was my first time dining at a large round bar table where we sat alongside strangers, offering a unique glimpse into their orders. I highly recommend this ramen restaurant.
