TGIF, hive bees! 🤗 What your weekend plans? I hope these plans enhance relationships with our loved ones.
My weekend? I just wanna spend it mostly laying and being lazy 😆 After washing and doing household choirs, aside from wandering places, relaxing is my version of weekend vacation.
This time, let me share with you one of the weekend I spent with the kids at home. A weekend which turned out to be a productive one! You might wanna try this too 😍
Kiarra, my nephew, asked me once to buy her a toy that is trending in youtube - the slime. But since I wasn’t able to find some in the store I have been to, I instead bought a box of clay and clay molding materials - great way for her to play and learn to mold different creative things also (well, an excuse from an aunt 😅).
One weekend, it so happened that Kiarra and other kids from our compound gathered in our house and played around. You can imagine the chaos 😅 To set them in one place, I told Kiarra to get the clays I bought for her and to play it with the other kids instead of playing around the house. I know that kids nowadays prefer holding their phones or tablets and choose to socialize through tiktok/facebook. It is not a bad thing but for me it should be balanced with some learning activities. We used to bond with my nephew and cousins through tiktok and watch movies. That’s why, this one is new to us.
Busy learning activity like this one actually gives them the time to enhance their talents and imagine things they can do through molding clays. They were busy molding and chatting but at least settled in one place-now, that’s a good thing for a person who’s preventing the kids scatter the things around the house and clean the mess afterwards, right? Who can relate? Haha
I helped molding also and made the lollipop, airplane and kite. Feeling like a kid! 😅
