Last August this year, the company’s sales and marketing creative team initiated an open-letter-essay for each of the employee’s “real life heroes” in celebration of the Philippines’ national heroes day. It said that we just have to flex our real life heroes and why have they become our real life heroes and every participant will get the chance to get prizes.
And I said, this is a very creative way to say thank you and appreciate our real life heroes indeed. Without further ado, I wrote and participated. My real life heroes are my parents. And I wrote this,
“Ma and Pa are my real-life heroes. Their superpowers? - are teachings. To be grateful and kind are one of the great teachings that my parents instilled to us since childhood. From sacrificing their wants just to provide our needs, to experiencing of having nothing and to believe tight with His love have made us brave and strong to face any challenges - that is their testament of love. I would never change anything from the past like when we have nothing to eat while listening to my stomach’s rumbling sound. That was tough but fulfilling feeling now that you’ve made us professionals!
Now that you are señors already, we will take care of you both forever. Thank you and I heart you, Ma and Pa! 🤍🫡”
They have been and will always be my heroes because they’ve let me become the woman I am now. Their legacy is not money or material things but the character they are portraying towards the people around.
With that, I have received goods and have been recognized. Hehe Thank you! 😁
Who is/are your real life heroes? You may share in the comments.
