I woke up to a terrible storm rocking the house. My heart started beating loudly, I always think of stray animals and homeless people at these moments..
I made a coffee and waited till the rain stopped.
The moment I saw the sky clearing for a while, I put on my shoes and took my money to go out buy some food for my cats (they are eating too much in the winter time)
At that moment, I saw a little snail on the wall. It was so slow .. it was going somewhere. But where? There was only a wall around it.
I decided to give it a 'finger' of help and took it with me until the car.
At first, it was very hesitant, scared perhaps. But suddenly, maybe it understood where we were going it put its head up.
It put its little head and the tiny antennas up and it saw where I was taking it.
To its forever home and into the greens. It looked at me as I was leaving it gently on the leaf.
Bye Bye it said and started eating greedily.
I left of, taking a few more shots before I continued my Sunday short trip.
Have you ever felt fulfillment only because you helped a little life survive?
