Admission of New Students

I and several bachelor friends from one of the universities in Indonesia were invited back to an event organized by my campus department to provide a little experience and knowledge for new students before starting their lectures. Teaching them a little more about how to be a student and discipline also teaches them some student life lessons so that they will be more receptive when lectures begin.

Here a lot of material is given by some of their seniors and bachelor to add insight as well as train their discipline, as it can be seen that those who arrive late are given a little punishment so that they value time more.

In addition to being given material and insight, they are also included in team games so that they understand the need for teamwork either in their lectures or in their work later after graduating from university. As new students, it is better for them to value their time and also the people around them. Because all of that is needed.

I don't give much hope or knowledge, but I give some input that they will need when the lectures have started. Small inputs such as how to be an active student in the organization and how to work as a team are also some of the things they might need later.

This event was held specifically for the Civil Engineering department which was held at Ujong Blang beach, Lhokeumawe for 2 days. During those two days they were educated and given broad insights from several seniors and alumni including lecturers so that later they would be ready.

Everything that is held is only to make them active students who are also ready to face the world of lectures and the world of work in the future.
