What do you know about temples? The temple is a historical heritage building or also said to be an abandoned ancient building. Temples usually refer to religious buildings or places of worship originating from the Hindu-Buddhist civilization. In Indonesia itself, there are many temple buildings that are now used as tourist attractions, one of which is the Sambisari Temple.
Initially this temple was discovered by a farmer who was hoeing a field, then accidentally hit a hard object. Upon investigation, the object was a stone decorated with carvings. So if we look at the location, it looks like it is underground. Possibly after being found, the location was excavated until the full form of this temple emerged.
For those who don't know, this temple is located in Sambisari Hamlet, Purwomartani Village, Kalasan District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The city of Yogyakarta itself is visited by many foreign tourists, because it has so many historical values. Lots of tourists from various foreign countries visit Indonesia, especially Yogyakarta to enjoy everything that is in this city.
It was my first time visiting Yogyakarta city, and what I felt was amazing. Everything seems to be here, all curiosity never runs out here. I visited a lot of historical sites and other famous places visited by many tourists.
Once you come here, the feeling of wanting to come back again and again. There are many things that I admire about the city of Yogyakarta, from the people who are so friendly to the tourist attractions that are so charming. Moreover, the cost of living here is so affordable, ranging from food to lodging, also with very easy access to various places. Maybe next time I will return with new places and other historical sites, such as Prambanan Temple and Borobudur Temple.
