The @liketu team continues to surprise me with its challenges, and today there was a chance to share its passion. I am very happy that this topic has been raised because, as I wrote in the last posts, I love drawing and I have been doing it since I was a child. Of course, this is not my only passion and I try to develop in many directions, so today I will try to tell you a little more about what things give me the most pleasure in life.
Drawing
Let's start with the basics, namely drawing. Even as a kid I loved to create sketches of game characters. Frankly speaking, they are very similar to those currently created by the #ChiFiBots team and I feel very sentimental when I look at this project. But maybe it's just my imagination, and my pictures looked so cool only in my head.
In general, my adventure with drawing had its ups and downs, first drawing game characters, then a complete break. Then, during high school, I thought about architecture. From this period I have sketches like the ones above. Unfortunately, after this period I didn't draw again for a long time, but recently I have come back with renewed vigor to create my first digital arts. These mostly work referring to various characters and the game Splinterlands. Lately, I don't have time to create more works but I know I will come back with doubled strength.
Playing instruments
My next passion is playing guitar and piano. Since I was a kid I love music and I can't imagine my life without it. I listen to music practically every day, often without paying attention to the genre. Sometimes it's POP music and other times classical. Recently I came back to classical music after watching the Chopin Competition. If you have never seen anything like it, I recommend it with all my heart. Coming back to the playing itself, I learned to play the guitar when I was in primary school, but I felt that this is not really the instrument that suits me, so I have been learning to play the piano for some time now. I can honestly say that it is a very heavy instrument and I really admire people who can play it well. Unfortunately, I could not find any pictures of me playing.
Gym
The penultimate passion I would like to talk about is my new passion for physical activity. Like probably many people of my age, I have recently started thinking about my health. As a result, I decided that it is time for me to join the group of sport wild boars. With the help of @kwsnomzys I've been going to the gym for a few months now and I feel that my body is functioning much better. Also, confidence is very easy to boost, because the moment you see changes in your body you know that the hours you spent training are not in vain. I am very happy that I decided to take this step in my life and turn something that was bothering me into a passion that helps me achieve new goals.
Programming
My latest passion is programming, something I avoided until I started my studies. It's quite funny but in the first year I didn't pass programming and now I'm a programmer by profession. Honestly, I never would have expected that programming would be my passion but it just happened. Thanks to this I can work remotely and have time to go to the gym and study, which is amazing. If I were to talk about the details, I am a front-end developer by profession, so there is something of the artistic soul left, but it was necessary to add a lot of learning about the principles of operation and creating functions in various frameworks such as React or Vue. Now, when I recall my beginnings, I am glad that I did not give up and I am here where I am because I can do what I love and earn money for it.
