The largest collection of objects made of gold (as well as alloys of gold with copper and silver) made by the indigenous population of these places before the arrival of Europeans. That is, one might say, in "pre-Colombian Colombia." About 34,000 gold items represent a dozen local cultures: Kalima, Muisca, Senu, etc. An interesting solution was to place body jewelry against the background of human silhouettes to show how a tribal leader, a shaman or an ordinary woman dressed.
