Brunch places are always hard to come by. There is so much selection when it comes to London but very few places are what I would call "Your go to places!".
I came across Sunday in Brooklyn whilst walking through Notting Hill. With its pretty striped awnings, handful of al fresco tables, and throng of eager diners around the entrance, Notting Hill has clearly wasted no time in embracing Sunday in Brooklyn (so much so, in fact, that you’d be wise to book at peak times). The interior seems designed with Instagram in mind, albeit in an unshowy manner: the high-ceilinged space is bright and airy, replete with blonde wood, hanging plants, sprawling wraparound windows and banquette seating bordering the room, upholstered in a calming palette of natural shades. Staying true to the restaurant’s roots, it’s not unlike how one might envisage the apartment-cum-studio of a cool, young (if well-off) Williamsburg artist.
I opted for the Breakfast burger, this was a Brioche bum with scrambled eggs, sausage and cheddar cheese!
Let me know your thoughts!
