There is no such thing as "semaglutide medications." Semaglutide is a member of the GLP-1 class of medications.
Semaglutide is not the first of this class to market. It is not the best/most effective medication in the class. A good medication it is. But if you call them "semaglutide medications" you shouldn't be publishing articles about them because you don't know what you are talking about.
They're only controversial because of backwards cultural attitudes about obesity. From a medical perspective these are miracle drugs that will change and extend at minimum tens of millions of lives in the USA alone.
