Chuao es un lugar mágico ubicado en la costa de Aragua, en Venezuela. Además de su tierra caliente, su gente de eterna sonrisa, sus pintorescos paisajes, sus tambores, hermosas playas e increíbles atardeceres este lugar tiene algo impresionante, y es que producen EL MEJOR CACAO del país.

He tenido la oportunidad de probar la fruta del cacao y en mi opinión personal es una explosión de sabores en tu boca y no sólo le basta ser mi fruta favorita si no que también se convierte en uno de mis postres favoritos al ser procesado.

El proceso para convertirse en chocolate es arduo, primero el cultivo y recolección de frutos de cacao, se desgrana el cacao, luego se fermenta y se seca en una plaza inmensa frente a la iglesia para tostarlo y seleccionarlo (trabajo que hacen las negras bellas del pueblo) después se muele, se prensa para mezclarlo y convertirlo en cacao, es un proceso maravilloso y que requiere mucho trabajo, pero que como resultado obtiene un chocolate delicioso que todos deberían probar en sus diferentes presentaciones incluso hasta en licor.

Siempre que voy a Chuao no me pierdo comerme una frutita deliciosa de estas, sea directo de la mata o directo de la fábrica de chocolate 🍫.


Chuao is a magical place located on the coast of Aragua, in Venezuela. In addition to its hot land, its people with eternal smiles, its picturesque landscapes, its drums, beautiful beaches and incredible sunsets, this place has something impressive, and that is that they produce THE BEST COCOA in the country.

I have had the opportunity to try the cocoa fruit and in my personal opinion it is an explosion of flavors in your mouth and not only is it enough for it to be my favorite fruit but it also becomes one of my favorite desserts when processed.

The process to become chocolate is arduous, first the cultivation and collection of cocoa fruits, the cocoa is shelled, then it is fermented and dried in a huge square in front of the church to be roasted and selected (work done by the beautiful black women of the town) then it is ground, pressed to mix it and convert it into cocoa, it is a wonderful process that requires a lot of work, but the result is a delicious chocolate that everyone should try in its different presentations, even in liquor.

Whenever I go to Chuao I don't miss eating one of these delicious little fruits, whether straight from the bush or straight from the chocolate factory 🍫.

El cacao venezolano es inigualable, como todo tiene su proceso fuerte pero el resultado es magnifico.
