The Walk
We did not have a landline and internet connection for two days, what I did? I went for a walk carrying my DLSR camera and a smartphone so I could take snapshots of anyhing that might be of interest along the way. The pathway had been long passing thru the fields left and right of about 1.5Km from my flat. I was hoping to get close images of the two trees full of mistletoes which I think are dying off. I did get a nice close up of those mistletoes which are parasites on these trees and I really saw the damage they have done to the two huge trees.
At the National Park
Then I threaded the way to the Donau Auen National Park. I saw the beautiful crop land I passed-by having some geometric shapes as a result of the tractor`s mower. When I arrived at the Park entrance , the first thing I did was to look at the dried pond, it has water now because it rain last week. A week before, I was there but the pond was so dry (please refer to the 2ns image... and there were no birds around maybe it was because of the cold weather. Yesterday, the ducks were there again , it seems the Park Admins have opened the barricade to let the water flow, it was lovely to see that the pond has water now. The ducks and the geese flew with a loud croak, as if they were playing around landing to the other pond on the other side of the wooden bridge. I even captured some of the flying geese and ducks moving from one place to the other while landing on the pond. I went through the woods and still got me some images of the trees, but they need more time for the leaves to sprout. Spring just came calendar wise.
Images transfer
When I came home, I have connected my camera using USB cable to transfer the images to my laptop but the internet broke down again. My images were lost and I tried to retrieve them using a tool, but to no avail. It was a free software from a commercial software company. I did not understand the mechanics of their tool, Lol! So I let it be... I will surely take my walk again capturing the same episodes. But what I was so sorry about was the lost images of the flying geese and ducks which couldn´t be easily captured. It was a rare chance and a pity that the images were lost.

Sometimes I also want to walk alone seeing the beuty of nature.This will for sure refresh my mind.

Yes, a very long walk and I was dead tired leaving my left foot in pain. But it had been nice to feel Mother
Nature again especially the surroundings, the trees and the birds.
