Lines, shapes, and clouds all seem to mix quite well, especially in black and white. Downtown Calgary has quite a few intriguing views and buildings to capture. I feel like I could spend day after day just wandering and catching it all. For these shots, I use a Nikon 14–24mm ultra-wide-angle lens. It helps make these skyscrapers look a little more dramatic and spectacular. The distortions are something I like to work with, as its better to go with the flow rather than fight against it.

I love the city and I think these photos are the best, plus the black and white effect looks great, it is very in keeping with the style of the city
