Im looking towards downtown Calgary, the south end of downtown, and the mission area, which is closest and has the smaller condo-style buildings. This is a view from Cemetery Hill, which also overlooks the Stampede grounds, which is our annual fair style event. I enjoy this view as it shows the mix of green and nature alongside the buildings, and Calgary is a very nature-filled city, so it really seems to have beautiful views almost anywhere you go. There is always a crane whenever I look somewhere, and its been like this for decades. As we are almost always going through some kind of growth, even in slow times, this is a popular place to live. We have mountains near by and some world-class recreational activity. We are also a business hub for the energy industry and an ever growing tech sector. On top of this, it seems like we are a family-oriented city with people from all sorts of backgrounds. It makes for a great mix and a city that seems to always be moving forward.
