A short holiday by the sea in the off-season can be boring because of the lack of action. Lack of action mainly due to lack of tourists. A holiday resort, full of life and excitement during the summer season can be sad and still place in the off-season. Just the inhabitants of the place, each with their own life problems.
We arrived at the sea too early, due to too much longing for the beach and the waves of the sea. The too hot weather fooled me too. Once in the resort, after half a day of driving, I understood that I was among the first and few tourists. Of course, such a situation has its good sides. Like the quiet, the lack of crowds. Generally conducive to walking.
On a walk along a deserted beach, I noticed a man playing with his dog. The large, deserted beach was a very good place for dog fetch, i.e. throwing a ball for the dog to catch and bring to the owner.
I have long watched the dog running through the sand or into the seawater to catch and fetch the little ball. It was the only action in a place waiting for summer.
Of course, it wasn't just watching. It was also photographing. That's all I could do. I'm participating with this in the Action-themed contest, in the amateur tier.

Hi, Melinda, @melinda010100! I'm @bluemoon, this @moonappics is my second account. I made it two years ago to post in Appics. After Appics went away, I haven't posted until now, when I want to use it for photo posts, contests, etc.
I have a question: when can I use the points to boost? On which days after publishing the post, because I still get my points returned. Thanks a lot!

For boosts, posts must show effort. posts with only one photo and few words seldom get boosts.
Only boost new posts. Never more than 2 days old.
Template posts seldom get boosts.

What does it mean " Template posts "?
I take it from what you are saying that a post can get a boost immediately after being published and until the end of the second day?
I have received points refunds and have never asked for a boost after two days, nor can it be argued that the post was effortless... i.e. never less than 8 photos and over 3oo words.
I thought I could use the points I earned as I pleased. I get 500 points a day from ecency, what should I do with them?

One to 2 day old posts are best.
Sometimes 500 point boosts get skipped if Ecencys voting power is low.
Try asking for medium size boosts. You can use some of your POINTS to boost or promote friends posts.
But keep trying! And be patient with us. There are SO many boosts ever day!
