<<太陽與她的花>>是Rupi Kaur的第二本詩集，第二本跟第一本一樣誠實書寫痛苦，只是除了愛情這本也寫親情，說出第一代移民父母的辛酸與苦楚，很多句子讀起來既殘酷頗感人，這段詩也讓我想起被譽為當代文壇很受矚目的年輕詩人王鷗行 (Ocean Vuong) 的第一本小說<<此生，你我皆短暫燦爛>>裡那不識英文字也無法說英文，靠著替白人美甲維生的母親。
they turned a suitcase full of clothes into a life
and regular paycheck
to make sure that children of immigrants
wouldn’t hate them for being children of immigrants
they worked too hard
