It poured rain all night but conveniently stopped just in time for parkrun, then pretty much started up again as soon as we got home. Not raining did not mean we did not get wet as this course has 4 decent creek crossing, mud and it was as humid as it gets. Almost to the point that it might as well have been raining. The run breif was for us to be very careful. I ran hard when I could but just cruised the dodgy sections. The creek crossing were a good bit of old fashion fun just like children playing in there gum boots. Only just over 30 people showed up many must have chosen to stay in bed.

every course is different, we are lucky to have a few near us. Most have concrete paths but 2 are trails and 10mm of rain in an hour can make them muddy
