Don't worry. It was actually monday when we were out here before the christmas holidays but I've been so bad at posting lately that i just wanted to get something published and a few scenic photos always do the trick.
When we go rural, we go very rural.
This was out on the very edge of the west coast of Ireland in connemara. Native Irish speaking country with houses few and far between. Land is tough and the people are tougher.
It's some of the very last parts of real ireland and when your driving up these windy mountain roads you can feel it.
The day itslef was cold and windy but the job wasn't too bad. A little old cottage at the top of a hill that we had to stretch a long way up to reach.
It only took a few hours as we could climb on the rook but the drive was three hours to site since it was so far out of the way.
I enjoye the day but a bit closer to home will be nicer after the holidays.
