On my last trip to the Venezuelan plains I had the option of eating empanadas with mashed potatoes but I preferred the ground beef ones even though my favorite ones are made with shredded meat, the drinks I chose to accompany them were strong coffee which is my must in the mornings to start the day with energy and orange juice for after eating the empanadas.
The empanadas were delicious, very crunchy and golden on the outside, it was not full of meat but it was enough to leave my tummy full and my palate pleased, I only missed a good tartar sauce or guasacaca to say that it was a perfect breakfast.

En mi último viaje al llano venezolano pude desayunar empanadas tenía la opción de comer con puré de papas pero preferí las de carne molida aunque mis favoritas son de carne desmechada, las bebidas que elegí para acompañar fueron café fuerte que es mi indispensable por las mañanas para empezar el día con energía y jugo de naranja para después de comer las empanadas.
Estaban riquísimas las empanadas, muy crocantes y doradas por fuera, no estaba repleta de carne pero fue suficiente para dejar a mi barriguita llena y a mi paladar complacido, solo falto una buena salsa tártara o guasacaca para decir que fue un desayuno perfecto.
