Wohooooo!!!! I'm thrilled to share that today marks the Go Live of the project I'm handling. 😁❤ In fact, I just came from our last discussion before Go Live. I'm so proud of this feat. Definitely the biggest thing I've delivered in my career. I'm sharing more about this project soon but for now, let's go back to Easter Samar. It makes me sad that I was off track again this month in my Hive goals but now that work life will be more predictable, I hope I can be as active as last month. Fighting!
We visited Guinduyan Cove last time. I know I mentioned that our top-of-mind destination was the cove but there's another place I wished to visit. I'm the mastermind of this trip so I adjusted a few things to my liking! LOL! I think it was late in 2019 when Maerose, my friend based in Tacloban City, visited our next destination and posted a photo of it on Facebook. The waves were crazily big and the only thing I thought of after seeing it was to go there right away. But we all know what happened in 2020; who could forget? 🥺
Our next destination is Canhugas Nature Park, which is about 5km away from Guinduyanan Cove. If you're already in the area, it's highly recommended to go to Guinduyanan Cove, Panglao Beach, and Canhugas Nature Park and in this exact order via Jct Taft - Oras - Sn Policarpo - Arteche Rd instead of the Provincial Road. It was a Saturday around 3 PM when we visited the Nature Park. There's a minimal entrance fee that all tourists should pay in order to get into the park but don't worry about the fee for you'll get more than what you'll pay for.
I was surprised that there were only a handful of tourists; I was expecting more since it was a Saturday. Anyhow it was a good thing. The park has open cottages that you can rent out in case you'd want to stay longer and have lunch inside the Nature Park. I guess for those who'd want to stay and swim, it's best to rent a cottage. Just take note that you should swim in the back portion of the park. There are lesser waves there so you can enjoy more.
In our case, we spent less than an hour here. We went right away to the sharp rock formations facing the Pacific Ocean. It was a fine sunny day; there were still waves but they weren't as huge as the one in Maerose's photos. It was still beautiful tho.

Taga Samar ako. Pero never ko pa tlaga naexplore yan, lol. Sna someday, malibot ko rin ..
My mom is from Samar. However, I haven't visited her hometown because we are staying here in La Union.
Really you're from Samar @landrover007 ? Where exactly in Samar?
@jane1289 mukhang marami-rami ka na talagang dapat bisitahin pag-uwi mo dito hehe
What a beautiful place, the view is just perfect! It will be perfect to have a walk in there ( ◜‿◝ )♡
Afternoon walks for adults @ruffatotmeee. I don't recommend it for kids. Masyadong sharp yung rock formations dito. Huhu
The place is beautiful, nothing like the sea to relax. A plus is that they rent cabins if we want to spend more than a day and there are places with less waves to enjoy a good swim. Greetings.
I'm not sure if there are cabins for rent for overnight stays @hylene74. The open cottages don't seem fit for sleepovers.
wonderful place.
Glad you enjoyed it @ismaelrd04 ☺
