You might be wondering why I have so much time to do so many things. The truth is I do have time for things that matter. After the freediving session last Saturday, I spent the entire Sunday at home chilling with my parents and my brother. Spending quality time at home is one of my non-negotiables. On top of that I also scheduled an hour or two to sit down and hone the shy artist in me.
For the record (and as a disclaimer), I am not an expert painter. In fact, I only started painting earlier this month as part of my Personal Development Plan focusing on my creativity. The output of my session last Sunday were results of improving my blending techniques and mastering the skills in creating new colors out of the only acrylic paints I have. Of course I didn't buy a lot since I'm still starting out.
In my next painting session, I hope to try other methods and new brushes, too!
P. S. My mother is already asking me to paint faces. Chill Ma, I'll get there! 😁

Definitely support the idea of spending as much time as you need on the activities which matter to you. Most people spend too much time doing things they wouldn't otherwise do, just because it is a way of making ends meet. I think this shouldn't be the trend. More freedom and property will allow people to spend time on things which bring out the best in people.
Hey @elmerlin! Good day to you! 😁
Sadly, I do know people who're doing things just to make ends meet or for the stability they get from it, mostly financial in nature. And they don't even have any other options or so they believe. Most of the time, it requires a leap of faith to fully take control of one's path, a path towards joy, peace and growth. I hope more and more people will realize this. ❤️
The truth is I do have time for things that matter. -- so true and jealous sa imong pag divide sa imo time ms. Pat! Pagdali nadaw ana imo mother ky magpa paint sad ko nimo sa ako face. Hahaha. I saw this in your IG story and na amaze jd ko. Keep doing you, ms. Pat! 😍

Is that a canvas? I like the grains in it. Painting really a good thing to do. I used to paint back in college and sold some, but somehow got lost as responsibilities grow. This is really a good thing to kill boredom at home. Hopefully, I can paint again.
Enjoy some !PIZZA.
Hi @juecoree! Really, you paint, too? I hope you can free up some time very soon.
Yup, that's a canvas pad. Bought it at SM for only Php 199. But I'm not comfortable painting using the entire sheet so I cut it into smaller sheets.
I just love how focused I am during my painting sessions! 🎨😁
Yes, I paint too.
This is quite affordable. When things free up, I think I will be back painting again. Right now, I am quite drawn with watercolor than acrylic.
Painting is indeed relaxing and meditating.
I'll try watercolor some time soon. hehe
