On a recent visit to Madeira, I was staying in Lido. One of the days, I decided to take a little stroll to the nearby fishing town of Câmara de Lobos…
A charming place - I believe translated as chamber of wolves - and about an hour's walk up the coast. Popular with tourists, there are buses that stop there as part of the sights in and around Funchal.
A pleasant wander, a bit of sun and a picturesque destination. A fine way to spend an afternoon!
