I guess we were all driven by excitement by the idea of seeing lions for the first time that we didn’t even consider or expect more than just seeing one. I don’t know if it makes sense but when we were waiting for our turn to see the lion, we can actually hear their roar. But we laugh it off saying that it was just from a speaker. Seriously, what a joke.
Our jaws almost drop after seeing the lion look at us, roaring. As if making a claim for their territory. Then it dawned on us that nope, it wasn’t the speaker at all! The roar was real and they were doing it as they were looking at us! Then we stopped at their territory, just us looking at them with awe as the tour guide explained to us all that he can share about the three specific lions we were all looking at.
We found out that those three white lions are males and they all came from Germany. The tour guide also talked about their life span, how far their roar can be heard, and why their skins are not as white as they used to be as they have already adjusted to the climate of the Philippines, he even joked about looking for a volunteer who would be glad to hug the said lion! My sister almost fell for it. Lmao
Anyway, the three white lions were probably the best I’ve ever seen on Safari. All of us enjoyed it even though it was only for a short period of time. Especially my nephew, who enjoyed the trip the most. All of us were happy that he was happy since it was his birthday after all and that trip wouldn’t even happen if it weren’t for him.

After reading this, it makes me want to see lions personally. Though they looks so scary in the photo, I still want to see them.
Still scary in the personal too hahaha
@prettylongnose The face of a lion looks scary. Nice shots by the way.
It is even though they are still baby lions. 😅 Thanks @bhelatnasudepan
They look thin. I hope they're okay and not being injected with drugs na pampakalma.
Cool trip, sis! I see you guys enjoyed! 🙂
They are not yet fully grown, still cubs according to the tour guide. And also, they look like that because of the weather in our country. They finally adopted it, unless they were back in Germany and they are scary hearing their roar. And they are nocturnal so they are so lazy in the morning. Haha but in the evening they are so noisy and active.
Oh okay, sis! I've seen one too and even touched its head. But I doubt kasi may ininject sa kanya kasi di siya wild which is not normal. Though they're adorable, maganda pa din pag nasa habitat nila sila. But I love your photos, sis! Fun times!
Seems like you had a pretty lovely Trip and the lion roar ~ Just Awesome.
Those lions look calm tho like a king 👑!
