A full table spread.

Patatas bravas to die for.

What a spread of Tapas... I'm not sure I'll eat again for a week π

The final plate full of food... although I might have added a bit more to it later π€£
A Feast for the Eyes and Food for the Soul
My wonderful, amazing, and very talented girlfriend made us this magnificent spread of Spanish-Style Tapas for dinner yesterday. There was a slight hint of Mexican in there as well with the Nachos (not out of a pack but fried in the pan), guacamole, salsa and sour cream.
It was a real fusion of flavours, and I thoroughly enjoyed every delicious morsel. We are both quite proficient amateur cooks, and she has been cooking for her chronically ill mother and son for years, and I think she might have the edge on me π but it isn't a competition π
I've been experimenting, and learning new recipes on my travels for many years, and it is our romantic game to cook amazing dishes for each other in turn... although she was spoiling me last night as I cared for her when she was recently ill, and I did all the cooking at that time.
So, I got my just reward and spent my time editing some poetry, reading and listening to music while this Feast for the eyes and food for the soul was prepared with love π
Bruschetta with a Twist
We both got three tasty goat's cheese and red onion bruschetta, which had a secret ingredient I couldn't quite figure out, whatever it was it was crazy moreish.
Tapas
Tapas Dishes included: Patatas bravas, Honey drizzled (vegan) Chorizo pieces, Polenta coated crispy Halloumi fries, fried Corn Nachos, salsa, guacamole and plenty of sour cream.
I hoped you enjoyed the food photography, and maybe it inspired you to make one, some or even all π of the dishes pictured in this post. If so, let me know in the comments section.

the honey glazed Vegan Chorizo were especially good πThanks for checking out my post
That looks great. I'm no great cook, but a good breakfast is a wonderful thing.
!PIZZA
Ha ha, well I had some of the leftovers for dinner tonight as these pics were from last night's feast.
Me and my girlfriend both enjoy making elaborate foods like this so we're well suited. I'm not really the dinner party type, but it is kinda sad making posh food just for yourself π... although back in the day I did cook fancy dishes on my tod and post it on Zuckerbook b4 I discovered better places to share these types of thing.

I love anything goat cheese nowadays, never thought it was so good lol.
Tried it the first time here last summer with a salad that had goat cheese in it.
I can imagine these bruschettas were good!
Now I need to have breakfast thanks for making me hungry :)
Hi @thisismylife
God... I'm the worst at missing comments, or just catching them at the last minute π I hope you will forgive me?
That salad sounds amazing, and I've found tthat anything with a touch of sweetness, like a well reduced balsamic vinigarette on a salad pairs so well with goats cheese.
This is why my girlfriend's bruschettas were soooo good. She'd added a little honey, I think, into the lightly fried red onion mix that complimented the goats cheese.
You're welcome π π
All I know is I could have eaten those bruschetta for breakfast and lunch the next day π Luckily for my collesterol they were all eaten in the tapas feast.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my foodie photography ππΏ
