Two weeks ago I was invited to join a swimming birthday party of a church member of Every Nation in Batangas, it's about a two-hour drive from Manila, and if you plan to take a quick getaway from the bustling city, here's what we did.
- Since we went here on a weekday and it's just a day trip, we didn't want to hassle ourselves driving going there, so we just rented out a 15-seater van which cost about PhP4,700.00 (USD$85) for the whole day, gas and tollgate payment not included, spent roughly about PhP2,000.00 (USD$40.00).
- We first met with the other group in Southwoods in Laguna and had breakfast. The initial plan was we'll be going to a place called 'Saltitude'. We were a total of four different family group and was supposed to go to the place separately, but then we realized it would be impractical to do so plus it's more fun to travel together in a single car and we did.
- We left Southwoods around 10:00 A.M. and got in Mabini, Batangas around 12:00 noon, had lunch siesta and dip in the water, rode a banana boat, and sometime around 5:00 P.M. left Saltitude and drove further down south of Mabini Circumferential Road going towards Camp Netanya to have dinner in this gorgeous 3-Star Hotel with an awesome view!
- The view and the structure of the whole place are extraordinary, It's inspired by the captivating Santorini, Greece, I checked on their accommodation rate and it's about USD$127 which I think is good enough. The resorts in the area (Mabini, Bauan, Batangas) mostly are for snorkeling, Kayaking, and scuba diving similar to the place we went to (Saltitude), so if you're up for this kind of adventure I'd encourage you guys to visit this area. The difference is, you get to stay in this beautiful accommodation.
- The Food, I'd give it a 5/10, since I find it too expensive for the quality, and I only say it because of an unexpected experience I had during that time. (Don't use the straws and make sure to check their drinks.) But all in all, is good.
This is also I think one place you could go to and spend a romantic date with your loved ones so definitely would recommend this as well this will definitely get you some good loving that night! if you know what I mean. 😏
Cheers!

Beautiful view from the balcony.
it actually is! :)
The peaceful view of the place is awesome.. This is so relaxing.. Staying here for a while will surely make your mind at peace.
Such a breathtaking view, that's why I have always been attracted to the sea, and being in the water makes me feel how Mother Earth is so alive!
A beautiful view. A really beautiful place. I have been to Santorini about 10 years ago. I think Santorini is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
it is quite beautiful accommodation and great for snorkeling and scuba diving, seeing Santorini Photos and videos online, this is just literally just a small piece of it, that place is just a great wonder in Greece a far-fetched dream for a regular joe like me to visit. 😅 Thanks for checking out my post! cheers mate!
