Do you like wearing accessories ? Today I’m going to talk about my favourite accessory. Most of them made of silver. I don’t have enough money to buy diamond or gold, that’s only reason.🤷
Nowadays, accessory made of silver maybe viewed as outdated because most people prefer diamond or gold. In fact, silver has delicate beauty with a unique pattern. Silver accessory of each region in Thailand has a distinctive identity. I can summarize the local silver works as follows;
North of Thailand.
Nan Province has been producing silverware and accessory for a long time. There’re applications from the Mhong Tribe , which uses pure silver between 9698%, which is highly malleable, easy to design patterns.
North East of Thailand.
Surin Province , silverware and accessory are heavily influenced by Khmer people( Cambodian) Pattern art on silverware or accessories are engraved on them, such as bracelet, necklaces, rings and earrings, using up to 60% pure silver.
Middle of Thailand.
Sukothai Province has a wearing pattern that uses pure silver to 99%, using technique of applying paint. The colours that are commonly used are green, blue and red with a unique identity that’s different from the other.
Eastern of Thailand.
Chanthaburi Province is famous for gemstones, so silver accessory is especially used for decoration. Making silver rings decorated with gemstones with modern patterns. You can choose gemstones in many colours .

Silver accessory in each region has evolved to have modern pieces to suit the tastes of the new generation and foreigners. The government therefore came to support the creation of jobs from silverware, by promoting of Thai skilled workers to the world market

I generally prefer gold but have noticed people are going more for silver I don't believe this is because of the price they just seem to prefer silver lately.
Gold always has a high price. You have money u can buy gold. Its a good investment.
